We at Savvy Women Wealth Management know there are a lot of women who don’t have a clear understanding of what a stock or a bond or a mutual might be. For that matter, there are a lot of men who don’t know either, but OUR focus is going to be on the female investor.
Many women have told us that they’re familiar with the terms stocks, bonds, mutual funds, the Dow Jones Industrial Average, etc, and they see the headlines about stocks going up or down, and hear the financial media talking about bull markets, bear markets, fundamental analysis, technical analysis and more…but they say that hearing the words and really understanding what the heck they are talking about are two different things.
We also know, because many women have told us, that there are lots of women who want to learn more about investing.
So our mission at Savvy Women Wealth Management, is going to be to educate as many women as we can on the fundamentals of investing. My partner, Steve Wolff and I, Catherine Magana, will be hosting these educational videos entitled, “Investing Basics for Savvy Women.” There will be some videos in which either Steve or myself will present the information, while other videos will feature both of us. Although these fundamental investing videos are aimed at the female investor, we’re pretty sure there will be some men out there who will watch them too…but we’re ok with that.
We believe that Capitalism is by far the best economic system on the planet and we want you to know why. We want you to understand how you can be in control of your financial future by understanding the fundamentals of investing so you will have the confidence in knowing that you are knowledgeable when it comes to your money.
So this is for all the women who want to learn more about investing, including the high income earning professionals and executives…women whose husbands handle the investments in the family…or those of you who have been widowed and feel like hey, you never really thought about being in this situation…or maybe you’re a woman going through a divorce who the thought of having to handle your investments makes child birth feel like a picnic.
